Yes; it has two motions: the one round the sun, which it performs yearly; and the other round its own axis, which it performs daily. Q. What are these motions called? A. The first is called its annual motion, and the last its diurnal. Q. What is caused by the annual motion? A. The change and variety of the seasons. Q. What is caused by the diurnal motion? A.
