First of all we might take up the study of character and we will conceive of a being perfectly proportioned in all the qualities that go to make up character; then we shall have symmetry, beauty and harmony. Every one in sane moments will admit that character is above talent, although the latter has its influence on the char acter. Genius belongs to character really and we cannot very well separate them.
