Synopsis

Excerpt from The Second Book French Composition: Materials for Translating English Into French, for Advanced Classes

In the second part, the exercises at the beginning are intended to serve for a general revision of the Rules and difficulties contained in the first portion of the book, and have copious Notes and References. Added to them but gradually the pupil is brought to pieces entirely Without Notes. The latter pieces have themselves been graduated so as to become more and more difficult towards the end of the volume.

At the beginning of this volume has been added a Synopsis of the Rules contained in my first book, for those who have not used it, or who, having used it, want to refer to some of its Rules.
