Excerpt from Lectures on the Elementary Psychology of Feeling and Attention
I have not been able, either in the lectures themselves or in the appended notes, to take account of all that is important in the current psychology of feeling and' attention. Indeed, my sins of omission are obvious. I can only say that they weigh heavily upon my scientific conscience, and that, were it not for other and imperative claims upon my time, I should have delayed publication until I had done what I could to correct them.

Paperback. Condition: New. Print on Demand. This book is an in-depth read on the psychological perspectives on the theory of emotion as felt through the lens of sensation and attention. Breaking down the attribute of sensation into extensive and qualitative, the author opens up the reader to a wider and critical understanding of the deep thematic structures of emotion. The book continues to embark on the ideas and theories of major psychologists like Wundt, Stumpf, Ebbinghaus, and James, to name a few, and their perspectives on the role of affection and attention.
