Synopsis
Summer on a Minnesota island was supposed to be full of poetry and peace, but for Father Angus MacManus, newly installed rector at St. Aidan's-on-the-Lake Episcopal Church, a contentious vestry member, a hard-of-hearing dyslexic organist, a hyperactive overly-helpful woman, a bag piping chef, a clairvoyant cat, and a fatal "accident" in curious circumstances - not to mention long-held secrets - complicate Angus's time in this idyllic setting.
