About the Author

Dr. Hall is Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Professor at the University of South Alabama College of Nursing in Mobile, Alabama. She has worked as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner in a level III neonatal intensive care unit. Dr. Hall has taught evidence-based practice in nursing to undergraduate students, advanced nursing research to graduate students, and evidence-based practice and quality improvement in health care systems to doctoral students. In addition, she serves as faculty advisor to doctoral students completing residency coursework. Dr. Hall has conducted quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methods research with families of children with developmental disabilities, primarily autism spectrum disorders. Dr. Roussel is the DNP Program Director and Professor at the University of Alabama Birmingham School of Nursing. Dr. Roussel has a strong background in nursing administration, teaching, and consultation. She has been instrumental in the developing of a number of educational and leadership programs including the DNP, CNL, and Executive Nurse Administration. She serves on the ANCC Expert Panel for the Executive Nurse Administration certification exam. Dr. Roussel is very passionate about the process of systems change and translational research in the clinical setting.
