Michael Tracy was formerly a Director in the General Secretariat of the Council of the European Communities and also spent many years with the OECD in Paris. He now lectures and advises on the CAP and was until recently Visiting Professor at Wye Colelge, Univeristy of London. He is a well-known and widely respected figure both within the academic community and amongst professional economists and civil servants. AS an expert linguist and economist with intimate knowledge of the working of the CAP he is uniquely qualified to write on this subject.
