You 'll find me in the breakfast-room," Morton said, not tarrying for more. Sir Highland did not see his way clear to do anything but go, as per arrangements made. He knew that Morton had acted in good faith on the understanding with Chang Moy, and that his early morning activity, if inconvenient, was not censurable. With as good a grace as possible, therefore, he bowed to the inevitable. Fortified by an Anglo-American breakfast, he made his adieus without betrayal of the vexation that he felt, and arrived at the station in time. Mr. Moy was already there, and on the lookout for them.
