Or hast thou, Joh, the satal valley trac'd, And tbrough the realms os death undaunted pass'dj Where the pale king a rnsty sceptre wields, And reigns a tyrant o'er the dutky sields; Dost thou the pure immortal sountain know, From whence those num'i ous streams os glory ffow, Which ste'l ihe radiant lamps that in the ether glow,' Or siom what caves the sullen shadows rise When, like a deluge, night involve the skies!
