Not illustrated. 1922 Excerpt: ...under the wise policy of State Bank Examiner Craig, resulting in the stabilizing of financial conditions and the protection of the investment of the stockholders, and also the safety of the savings of the thousands of depositors in our Banks; THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the South Carolina Bankers' Association desires to place on record our unbounded admiration for Mr. James H. Craig, late Chief Bank Examiner for South Carolina, and commend most highly the wise policy pursued by him in handling the banking situation in South Carolina during the trying period, through which the country has recently passed. RESOLVED FURTHER: That we regret that he has deemed it necessary to resign as Chief Bank Examiner, and to accept another position, and that we assure him that he carries with him the best wishes of the South Carolina Bankers' for his future prosperity, good health, and happiness. RESOLVED: That this preamble and these resolutions be spread upon the Minutes and a copy furnished Mr. Craig. Vice-President Cobb (presiding): The Chair does not want to take too many liberties, but he is going to take at least one more. All those in favor of the adoption of these resolutions and the recommendation of the Committee will please signify it by rising. The entire Convention arose and stood amidst applause. Mr. H. W.
