Upon examining his head, a new tumor was discovered towards the occiput, about the size of half a large walnut, which felt as if it contained a fluid. On the third of June, he was directed tt drink daily ftijsi of the decoction, and, about this time, a small pimple appeared on the tumor over the left eye, which came to discharge some ichor, but not in any quantity so as could be supposed sufficient to evacuate the contents of the tumor; and, in a few days, this little fore dried up without any dressing. On the 17th of June, half a spoonful of the sol. sublimat. was mixed with his daily quantity of the decoction, but having catched cold, and complaining ofapainist his breast, it was continued but two days. By the beginning of July, he had much recovered his strength and flesh, and he looked more healthy; the state of the tumors was then as follows: that on thfe tibia, those near the orbits, the two small ones on the os frontis, the lower, one on, the the sagittal suture, and that on the occiput, were all so reduced as scarcely to be felt. The large node on the ossrontis, and that near the vertex, did not exceed one half of their former height, yet their base was as at first, and they felt as if they contained a fluid. His paijis were much lessened, but were not intirely gone..
