A'bill to establish certain towns in the counties of Milwaukee, Brown and Walworth, and the counties thereto attached for judicial purposes, and to provide for the election of certain officers therein. " No. 65. A bill relative to limited partnership. " No. 80. A bill to authorize Albert G. Ellis and other's to erect a dam on Rock River, and for other purposes; and "No. 81. A bill to permit the building of a dam across the Fox River. " The House of Representatives have insisted on the third amendment, and receded from the 4th and 7th amendments to bill No. 37 of this House, entitled ' A bill to change the corporate limits and powers of the town of Milwaukee,' and Messrs. Story and Cruson have been appointed a committee of conference thereon. " The House have also insisted on their amendments to bill No. 65, entitled " A bill to change the corporate limits and powers of the town of Green Bay," Messrs. Shackelford and Baldwin have been appointed a committee of conference thereon. " A conference is requested." And then he withdrew. The President signed the acts referred to in the foregoing message.,Mr. Wells, from the committee on enrollment, reported the follow, ing to have been presented to the Governor for his approval: An act to provide for the payment of certain expenses of the Legislative Assembly of the Territory. An act concerning notaries public; and An act concerning the writ of attachment. On motion of Mr. Sterling, the vote of this afternoon, by which the Council refused to order the bill No. 61, entitled " A bill to provide for a territorial revenue," to a third reading, was reconsidered, and the bill was thereupon ordered to a third reading.
