" But you must accept as much as that, anyway," said Guy, firmly. " Wa-al, we won't quarrel about that yet. We'd better find out whether or not there's a woodchuck in this hole, before we go to fightin' over the hide. Maybe we're diggin' a cellar that'll never be roofed; who can tell? " " Yes, I know there is still a doubt," admitted Guy; " but it's only in regard to the quantity and quality.
