Urmila Diwekar is the president and founder of the Vishwamitra Research Institute, a non-profit research organization that develops methods, algorithms, and approaches for rapid, reliable, and robust multiple objective optimal decision making under uncertainty. She was previously a professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago and Carnegie Mellon University.
