HUBERT ZIMMERMANN is Professor of International Relations, University of Marburg, Germany, and was previously DAAD Visiting Associate Professor, Cornell University, USA. ANDREAS DUR is Professor of International Politics, University of Salzburg, Austria, and Visiting Professor, University College Dublin, Ireland.
