CYCLITIS.--EXTEACTION OF THE EYE PEEVENTED, AND SIGHT EESTOEED.-EEMAEKABLE CASE. We have received the following Letter from Mr. David Grimsdick 10, Blakesley Street, Commercial Boad, E. Dear Sir,--About nine months ago I received a severe wound in my left eye, being hurt by a piece of stone. The conjunctival part of the ball of the eye was severely cut, and a severe inflammation covered, at once, the whole of the organ. I immediately placed myself under the care of a medical man of some experience, but, after a few weeks, my eye getting worse, I went for advice to a leading London Ophthalmic Hospital; there I was informed that I should be obliged to have the eye taken out, as it was of no use to me, but I objected to the operation. A few days after you were recommended to me, and I placed myself under your care. After a short time I found, to my great delight, that the sight was gradually returning, and has continued to improve so much, that I am now able to read medium-sized print with the eye which was going to be taken out. I beg to offer you my deep-felt gratitude for the benefit I have received from your skilful treatment; and I remain, yours gratefully, DAVID GBIMSDICK. September 9th, 1884. EPIPHORA, OR WATERY EYE.
