Pye. 23, Great St. Helens, E.C. This company was registered on the 5th January, 1864, for the purpose of acquiring and working the Panulcillo Mine, situate in the Province of Ovalle, Chili. The authorised capital is now £250,000 in 125,000 shares of £2 each, of which £225,000 has been issued and fully paid. There are also mortgage debentures to the amount of £25,000 in bonds of £100 each, bearing interest at the rate of 6 per cent., payable on the 15th May and 15th November, and redeemable in November, 1889. The nominal capital of the company was increased, and the shares subdivided, in February, 1888, from £200,000 in shares of £4 each, to £250,000 in shares of £2 each. Of the 25,000 new shares of £2, 12,500 have been issued at a premium of £1 per share. The accounts are made up to the 31st December, at the mine, and to the 31st March in London, and annual meetings are held in May. An interim report is also submitted in November, but, dividends when available are payable quarterly. The transfer form used is common and the fee 2s. Cd. per deed. The shares are quoted in the Official List. Latest price, 1888, 2J to 2. The following dividends have been paid:--For 1882 12s. Od. per share. For 1883 10s. Od. „ From 1883 to 1880 no distribution.
