Sham Tickoo is a professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering Technology at Purdue University Calumet, in Hammond, Indiana. He has been teaching CAD/CAM, AutoCAD, AutoLISP, drafting, and design since 1981. In addition to his academic career, Professor Tickoo has worked as a machinist, quality control engineer, design engineer, and software developer. His general research interests are in the design and development of new products like wind-turbines. He has authored and coauthored several books on CAD/CAM like CATIA, NX, Pro/E, Solid Works, Solid Edge, Autodesk Inventor and 3ds Max. Sham Tickoo received his Masters of Science Degree in Industrial and Management Engineering from the University of lowa, lowa City.
