About the Authors

Beate Roessler is Professor of Philosophy at the University of Amsterdam, the Netherlands. She is co-director of the Philosophy and Public Affairs research programme.

Dorota Mokrosinska is a Research Fellow in Political Theory at Goethe University, Frankfurt am Main, Germany, where she is conducting research on the place of privacy in democratic politics.
