Sometimes, things just can’t get any worse, but for hardworking Mollie, they do!
Not only does she have to leave her job at the stables, but also has to find a new home for herself and her dogs. Then a chance encounter renews an old friendship with Chris at the Hazeley show and brings a surprising solution; compromise living. Mollie gets a fresh start on his farm and Chris gets freedom from being harassed by the ladies from the local horse club.
But will this just make things worse? As entangled emotions and buried pain begin to surface, Mollie has to make sense of her past, and Chris starts a journey of self discovery starting with his lonely childhood to come to terms with his deeply repressed gender identity.
None of this is helped by the cows and Keith, a slightly dippy stallion, whose combined antics and dramas cause confusion and heartbreak.
