Synopsis

Are you struggling to teach or learn piano scales quickly?

The Last-Minute Scale Book is a creative and accessible method designed to help students and teachers master scales more quickly and confidently - especially under time pressure.

Instead of focusing on traditional fingerings from the start, this approach uses fun hand signs like "Peace" and "Chicken Feet" to introduce memorable shapes and patterns. It helps learners see the keyboard visually, hear the shape of each scale, and build fluency and confidence quickly.

The book includes all major, harmonic minor and melodic minor scales. Each scale is presented with clear diagrams, playful memory aids, and tips to make learning fast and frustration-free.

Whether you're preparing for a music exam, supporting a student, or revisiting scales yourself, this method offers a practical shortcut to understanding and remembering scales - without the overwhelm.

Ideal for beginner to intermediate players, and for piano teachers looking for a flexible, pattern-based way to teach scales.
