Synopsis
A prequel to the first instalment 'A Wolf Tells Lies', more mysteries in the land of wolves are unveiled with deadly consequences for those who push too far.
We follow the story of a young pup from Yellowstone. Once he notices anomalies in the consistency of his culture, he begins to question the accuracy of wolven folklore. When a gargantuan force of nature bends the fate of his family, the young pup is forced to leave home and head on a journey to find his purpose.
After being in pursuit of answers for years, he stumbles across the Howling Dawn, a recently formed aspect that is protecting something he had been looking for. A spirit gate. The direct link between the real world and the afterlife. But when he thinks all of his blessings are before him, the spirit gate passes on a message that fills him with dread and disbelief: his very name has a curse latched to it.
When he reunites with a friend from his past, he is tasked with overcoming the pressures of his deadly identity. He must then choose how to use the curse - to ruin the lives of every wolf around him, or hide it forever and use the dead as a warning to others who survive.
In this story of overcoming old family traditions, transformation of optimism into cynicism, and the ever-growing wrath of the ancestors, the maturing male wolf will have his faith cruelly tested.
