R. Elizabeth Russell was born and raised in Brantford, Ontario, when the city was a much smaller community. Growing up in a family that valued learning, she developed an early love for language, storytelling, and the power of imagination-foundations that continue to shape her writing today. Much of her work is inspired by personal experiences and the lessons they bring.
Through her work with children of various ages, including those facing unique challenges. Elizabeth has learned every child has something to teach.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Peace and Conflict Studies from the University of Waterloo. Her professional journey in banking introduced her to new challenges and opportunities, allowing her to build skills, set goals, and grow through a variety of roles.
Elizabeth often finds inspiration in nature, where she values time for reflection and meditation. With a curiosity about astrology and a lifelong commitment to learning and personal growth, she continues to seek balance and inner peace-always mindful to appreciate life's many blessings.
