About the Author

Marike Harris grew up in Montreal, Quebec, spending the winter in the southern part of the city and the summer in the east countryside, on Lake Memphremagog. She had a passion for studying Arts, Mathematics, Geography and English literature, and finally got a degree in Physical Geography. Throughout her studies, she entertained herself and her correspondents with writing fictional stories and then later wrote articles for a few different publications.

She started her first novel when she moved to a new town with her newborn babies, where she needed to occupy her mind as she never left them unattended.
