Synopsis

When a raid goes wrong and Scape Grace is caught defenseless, the pirates find themselves pressed into service escorting a lost ship from an unknown alien race. The unique ship with an untranslatable name proves that even in an increasingly civilized galaxy, surrounded by some of its oddest renegades, a weary ship’s captain can still be surprised by something new. The Wreck of the Untranslatable is the first novel set in the Empyrean Dreams universe and the first story in a series about the crew of the Scape Grace.
