About the Author

Pat, an expatriate from the USA, resides in Brazil where she has volunteered for the past fourteen years. She started writing poetry six years ago when she felt a calling to do so, even though she had never liked or read poetry. Since that time, she has posted the poems that come daily on the blog: Source of Inspiration, www.patcegan.wordpress.com. The poems have been read around the globe. “These poems are from Source,” she says, “they teach me just as they reach the hearts of those who read them.” When asked why she writes poetry, she simply said, “Because I have to. To not do so would mean to never listen to that guiding voice within.”
