About the Author

Helena Halme is a former BBC journalist, magazine editor and bookseller and, until recently, ran a Finnish/British cultural association in London. Her articles have been published in the CoScan Magazine, The ScanMag and the Finn-Guild Magazine.Currently, as well as a full-time author, Helena is a Fellow at CreateThinkDo and the Nordic Ambassador at The Alliance of Independent Authors. Helena took an MSc in Marketing at Hanken School of Economics, and an MA in Creative Writing at Bath Spa University in 2004, and has since published 15 novels, including The English Heart, an autobiographical story which began as a series of blog posts. The novel won an Awesome Indies badge on publication and has been a bestseller on Amazon.
