About the Author
Dr. Julie Riggs isan academic practitioner, speaker and writer within the field of health, safetyand indoor air quality. She has over 25 years' experience assistingbusinesses with developing health and safety practices and is a leader in raisingthe agenda of indoor air quality (IAQ) within the UK. Dr. Riggs has a Doctorate discussing IAQ and afurther MSc degree in occupational health and safety management from MiddlesexUniversity. She is the founder of IAQUK an independent organisation with theaim of 'raising the agenda of indoor airquality within the home and workplace'. Dr.Riggs has a balance of academic knowledge and professional practice and ispassionate about motivating and educating everyone on the importance of IAQ andOHS.
Dr. Riggs was born in Barnstaple, Devon, UK and has worked and travelled around the world. She currently lives in Somerset, UK with her husband, enjoying the fresh sea air that rolls off the Atlantic coast.
