Are your screenplays held hostage by rules that don't fit your story?
Most screenwriting books hand you a formula and tell you to follow it regardless of what you're writing. Screenwriting Unchained does the opposite.
In this groundbreaking first volume of the Story-Type Method® series, Emmanuel Oberg identifies three main story-types — plot-led, character-led, theme-led — and shows how each demands a different structural approach. The result is a flexible, powerful framework that works for any screenplay, from independent crossover to studio blockbuster, for anyone involved in the Film and TV industry: writers, directors, producers, development execs and showrunners.
