About the Author

Raywat Deonandan (www.deonandan.com) holds a PhD in Epidemiology & Biostatistics from the University of Western Ontario, and is a faculty member of the Interdisciplinary School of Health Sciences at the University of Ottawa. Since 2009, he has served on the Board of Directors for the Canadian Society of Epidemiology and Biostatistics. He is also the founder and Executive Editor of the Interdisciplinary Journal of Health Sciences.
