In very simple language using an easy to read poem the book uses 3 characters, Dinosaur Brain, Sponge Brain and Brilliant Brain to help the reader understand how 3 key parts of their brain can affect how they feel and behave. There is additional information on each alternate page that encourages discussion and thought and allows the reader or owner of the book to write down or draw their own experiences of how the characters affect them and to recognise which parts of their brain are dominant at different times. Originally written to help children and young people understand their behaviour, MY BRAIN has been read by many adults too who have found it's simplicity helpful in understanding their reactions and feelings.
