About the Author

Carolyn V. Hamilton is a multi-genre published author, illustrator and graphic designer who spent over three decades working as a marketing executive in the real world of Mad Men. In Las Vegas she owned her own advertising agency and later her own print communications company, Graphic Communications, Inc. In this career she won numerous creative design awards plus the Las Vegas Community Achievement Award in Communications and was listed in Distinguished Women of Southern Nevada. She is currently Editor & Chief Adventuress for www.adventuress-travel-magazine.com, the digital magazine “for women over 50 doing fun things,” and is also an accomplished watercolor artist and associate member of the American Watercolor Society. A graduate of Antioch University Seattle, her other adventures have included two years as a U.S. Peace Corps Volunteer and a stint—in her “younger days”—as a Playboy Bunny. When not traveling, she resides in Cuenca, Ecuador, where she teaches both writing and art classes.
