She hopes to inspire others to follow their true passion and believes that everyone is capable of overcoming obstacles, big or small. The story takes place in Narragansett, RI, where both author and illustrator are residents. South County natives will enjoy the local setting throughout the book, while visitors will have the perfect gift to remember their trip to Rhode Island. The illustrator, Ryan Maguire, is the founder of MADink, Rhode Island’s original Illustration & Design Studio. Ryan developed the characters and illustrated Chasing The Moon!
