About the Author

Dr. David Weibel is a psychologist who helps people overcome suffering and transcend their egos, sometimes even at the same time. Upon learning to walk, he became sports-obsessed, which instilled a strong sense of 'us', a team view. Twenty years of exploring spiritual traditions helped him realize 'all of us', a stance from which he has created and tested compassion interventions, led groups, and engaged one-on-one. A brilliant professor who was beginning her career lured him from San Francisco to Baton Rouge.
