Synopsis

The deepest and darkest region of Hell is the way Barkley Capleton describes life in his foster home. As a kid he is subjected to unimaginable mental, physical, and sexual abuse. Over the years, he finds his only solace from his stress filled home life on the basketball court. His wizardry on the blacktop quickly becomes the talk of New York City’s playground basketball circles. The praise garners him the attention of one of Brooklyn’s notorious criminals, Kevlar, who recruits Barkley for his street basketball team, BK To Tha Fullest. The appeal of money, power and respect quickly lures Barkley in. The team rips through New York City’s toughest competition. Their popularity is at its pinnacle when they are baited into throwing a game that brings the wrath of an infamous organized crime family upon them. Barkley goes from running the courts to running for his life, until he gets out of the line of fire by escaping the Big Apple. Barkley is sent into hiding with a new identity and a fresh lease on life in a small Ohio town. After enrolling in a new school and joining the basketball team, Barkley is faced with an once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to play in a nationally televised game. He knows playing will expose his secret hideout, but will Barkley risk his life and the lives of those who have put everything on the line for him, in order to get a crack at making his hoop dreams come true?
