Synopsis

First, I won’t waste your time with drills or mechanics. All I teach is how to read greens. So …Teaching pros say you can’t use your eyes to find the fall line.I say you can.Pros will tell you that because they don’t know what to look for.I’ll show you exactly what to look for and precisely how to find it. In fact, I’ll show you how to prove you found the fall line with math you learned in high school. There are no numbers, equations, or calculations of any kind. You’ll even learn how to make the golf hole move and why.The reason teaching pros say you can’t use your eyes is because there could be a hidden contour between you and the hole that will divert your fall line. That’s why they came up with the idea of finding the fall line by walking around the hole, feel with your feet for the transition point where downhill meets uphill. I agree, you find the fall line, but it’s at your feet. That’s where their objection of a hidden contour applies to them and not us. That hidden contour lies between their feet and the hole, where we find the fall line at the hole. Now, I also agree when hidden contours lie between the ball and the hole, none of us can see it, no matter what green reading system you use. Mother Nature wins. It’s called rub of the green. So, let’s do the same thing different.Finding the fall line is like hanging a picture on a wall. If you can use your eyes to balance that picture, we’ve all done it and it works, then you can use your eyes on a golf course. You’re looking for symmetry. That’s the balance on each side of center. You don’t walk around it to find where it hangs perfectly straight. So, when you’re playing, imagine a picture frame around the golf hole, just like that picture on a wall. Mother Nature has rules, and you can’t change them. Since you don’t move around the picture at home, why does it suddenly make sense you can move around a FRAMED golf hole in real time?Fast talk and a smooth delivery doesn’t make what I say true. That’s where math comes in. My geometry teacher in high school had a saying: Use what you know to get what you don’t know. I’m going to show you how to apply common sense and what we all learned in math class. Once you see the golf hole move, it’s one of those DUH moments. Every golfer, professional and amateur, has been looking at the solution to reading greens for well over one-hundred years, yet failed to see the solution. Here’s a clue. All golfers see the golf hole as a singular image. Don’t.Ever hear about the Rule of Three? It identifies any three aspects of a situation as better than any other combination of factors. Golfers have always known that to be grain, drainage, and slope. Those are the three characteristics of a green.Like I said, let’s do the same thing different. So, from now on, look at the golf hole by the sum of its parts: the grass, the dirt, and the cup. That’s golf’s version of the Rule of Three. So, you can either focus on the three characteristics of an entire green or you can learn to use the three characteristics of your target, the golf hole. It’s your choice. Finally, you can even prove you found the fall line. Once you know what to look for and how to find it, you’ll understand how to apply something else you learned in math class. Again, there are no numbers, equations, or calculations. So, be skeptical. Don’t trust me. But when you do see it, you’ll know from your own experience in math class, from a teacher you do trust, that Secrets of The Fall Line is right.Finding the fall line is the first step to reading greens. It takes less than five seconds and everything I’ve described is simple and repetitive.READING GREENS Secrets of The Fall Line has sold in over forty countries. Join golfers from around the world, who are using the same math you were taught. The overall response has been really impressive. Secrets of The Fall Line is not only true and mathematically proven, but it’s a nugget every golfer needs in their bag.Play well.CJ Decker
