Synopsis

New cover and updated! Many people walk through life feeling that God is distant. But He is not! He created us to flourish in confidence, connection, and purpose from the wellspring of His fathering love, to know Him as a near and involved Father-like Jesus did. Painful family experiences often create false concepts in our thinking about who we are, and who God is as a Father, keeping us disconnected and struggling in our identity. In Life with Abba Father, the author leads us down the path to deeper intimacy with God through powerful insights, personal experiences, and biblical truths for knowing Abba Father's true parenting heart toward us. Break free of "fatherless" mindsets as you engage a "Fathered" perspective that empowers a true sense of personal, God-given value - a view that roots the heart deep in the Father's love and a healthy sense of community. Practical steps are given for healing "heart-wounds" incurred in family relationships, as well as a new framework for living as Abba Father's royal son or daughter who is nurtured and trained in divine delight and purpose as His family on earth. This book was formerly titled Being Fathered for a Divine Purpose.
