I wrote "Code 47 to BREV Force," long before, cloning, before there was much information about holograms, and before there was any indication that computers were anything more than machines, but I wrote it mostly because my sons had become computer game players and no longer read books. I originally wrote "Code 47 to BREV Force," to be a 72 page super hero story that would appeal to my sons. As it turned out, it is now a trilogy of about 800 pages, about growing up dealing with who we are, examining families and relationships, and how we respond to the threats to our world! As I wrote this story it took on a life of its own. It wanted to be told for all those who search for who they are and cry out for the world to see them and understand them. We are not all super heroes, including those who are, but in the end, “Code 47 to BREV Force," shows what makes us vulnerable and what makes us strong and what makes us real super heroes! I hope you enjoy, “Code 47 to BREV Force."

F. Barish-Stern wrote Code 47 to BREV Force because she loved her children. Her sons were on a train going to Disney World and they didn’t have anything to read, only a “Game Boy” to play. So, she decided to write something they would read. She used their love of superheroes as the premise and 30 years later, she has spun this tale into a Trilogy. A published author for over 40 years, Barish-Stern has received numerous awards and her “Rainbow City” won first place and was published in “The Arts Newspaper.” She has authored many books, including, TELL IT TO THE FUTURE, and NEW HORIZONS. Barish-Stern has developed writing programs for all ages and has turned years of working with aspiring authors into a new book, How To Write Your Book…From an Idea to Your Published Story. She has edited the work of writers young and old. Over the years, she has expanded to working with authors on a one on one basis. She has also turned her love of writing to helping children achieve their writing dreams and is currently tutoring children to develop their imaginations into brilliantly told stories.
