This book has only one goal: allow you to pass the General Class (Element 3) Ham radio license exam with the least amount of time and effort. The first two chapters provide concise summaries of all the rules and procedures you need for the test. The third chapter lists all the mathematical formulas required. The next ten chapters cover all of the elements that are listed in the publically available specification for the test. The material is presented in a way that will allow the test taker to easily recognize the correct answer on the real test without being distracted by the wrong answer choices. ABOUT THE AUTHOR: RAJIV RAJU got his first Ham license at the age of 8 as KB9YFO. His main motivation to get a license at that age was to attempt to talk with astronauts on the International Space Station, who were communicating with people on Earth with ham radio. He has held his current call K9RAJ since 2001. Rajiv wrote this book to make the wonderful hobby that is amateur radio accessible to even more people. IMPORTANT NOTE: The content of this book is valid until June 30, 2011.
