This is the second book, of two, of a step-by-step reading program/workbook, which utilizes free online resources, such as flash cards and fun online games that your child will love. This program is perfect for any child, especially those with learning delays and speech problems. It is based on the Orton-Gillingham approach, which has been proven to be successful for those with dyslexia. This approach teaches reading in a structured, cumulative manner, with repetition.
There are three components to this program, that you can see on the author’s website (blastofftoreading.com). They are: 1) the workbook; with many colorful pictures and large text, 2) the online games; all the lessons will have fun activities where your child will earn coins so they can build a railroad, create a farm, and purchase food for the farm animals, and 3) online flash cards; this helps reinforce what was taught in previous lessons with colorful cards that are easy to scroll through with your tablet, phone or computer.
Simply open the book and teach, it’s that easy. No training is needed!
Note that this program is comprised of two books (I Can Fly - Book A & I Can Fly - Book B).
