A Tale of Two Kingdoms traces the conflict between the Kingdom of God and the Kingdom of Man. The Scriptural account that begins in Genesis comes to a climax in the Book of Revelation as one kingdom is destroyed and one has a glorious future. Jesus had much to say about these two kingdoms as He challenged His hearers to turn from the kingdom of this world and align themselves with the Kingdom of God.
God's final revelation was given to John to make clear how this conflict will end. In the Book of Revelation the Kingdom of Man (called "Babylon") comes under God's judgment and is destroyed while the Kingdom of God (led by Jesus Christ) rules eternally over all creation. The Book of Revelation becomes very practical as a prospectus for those who would make a wise investment with eternal dividends.

George Hattenfield graduated from Philadelphia Bible Institute in 1952 (now Cairn University), and Wheaton University in 1954. He began ministry in 1954 by pastoring a small church outside of Johnstown, Pennsylvania, where he met and married his wife Jean. They had two children, Debra and David during that time. In 1960, George accepted the call to Eckhart Baptist Church, near Cumberland, Maryland, where he and his family served for ten years. In 1970, he became the pastor of Clintonville Baptist Church in Columbus, Ohio. During his forty two years in that ministry the church grew and moved a few miles north of its former location and became known as Linworth Baptist Church. The Hattenfields retired from full time ministry in 2012, but continue attending and serving at Linworth in other capacities.
