About the Author

Susan Straub-Martin has never grown up! She still loves that box of 64 crayons, children's books and stuffed animals. Susan started drawing at the age of five. Her background encompasses illustrating international brands for highly respected companies including Disney and Warner Brothers. As a child Susan was often called freckle-faced strawberry and it kind of stuck. This is how the name Strauberry Studios came about. Even though Susan actually is a grown up, she has kept the spark of childhood alive in her storytelling and drawings. She is the passionate artist and owner of Strauberry Studios. A love of cartoons and an appreciation for unique characters inspired her to write children's books about a community of friends that she calls "Buddies".
