About the Author

Dr. Henderson is a practicing anesthesiologist who resides with his family in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. He obtained a B.S. in Biology from the University of Southern Mississippi and M.D. from the University Of Mississippi School Of Medicine. A general internship at St. John's Mercy Medical Center in St. Louis, Missouri was followed by a residency in Anesthesiology at Tulane Medical Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. Following residency, Dr. Henderson spent four years in the U.S. Air Force and was stationed at Wilford Hall Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. During this time, he taught anesthesiology residents and students of nurse anesthesia. Dr. Henderson has been in private practice since 1999 and enjoys his continued opportunity to teach nursing, nurse anesthesia, and pre-medical students.
