About the Author

Ayman Nassar is founder and chair of the board of directors of Islamic Leadership Institute of America (ILIA). He currently works in technology leadership as a technical project manager, systems engineer and IT architect at the IBM Corporation. Ayman is an adjunct project management instructor at Prince George's Community College, holds graduate degrees in Engineering Management, Systems Engineering and Electrical Engineering, and is a certified PMP, CSEP and CSSGB. He has hands-on experience from dozens of projects worth more than $150 million in diverse domains such as telecom, IT, networking, data centers, software development, non-profit organizations, higher education and technology development. Mahmoud Abouelrous is a project management coach at ILIA, mentoring youth on planning and organization best practices. He is full-time Senior student at the University of Maryland, College Park. majoring in information systems. His educational background and experience includes project management, finance, systems analysis and design. Mahmoud has worked in the field of project management on the 2010 Census project for the Census Bureau while employed by IBM, and on other consulting engagements for Line of Sight, a project management consultancy in Maryland, and Pizza Roma.
