Dr. S. Larry Goldenberg received his MD from the University of Toronto Medical School and completed his surgical training in urology at the University of British Columbia. He is a Professor of Urology at the University of British Columbia, co-director of the Vancouver Prostate Centre, Chairman of the UBC Department of Urologic Sciences, consultant at the British Columbia Cancer Agency, Director of the Men's Health Initiative of BC, and staff urologist at the Vancouver General Hospital. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada, the Canadian Academy of Health Sciences, and the American College of Surgeons.
