About the Author

Beatrice Bruno was born in New York, raised in South Carolina and "grew up in the US Army." Told by various members of her family more times than she cares to remember that she would probably never be anything more than she already was in life, Beatrice chose to enter the US Army because it was bigger than she was. Her vision to serve her country was realized in two much sought-after assignments: as a Soldier/Singer in Germany and as a Drill Sergeant at Fort Dix, NY.
