Synopsis
Ozias Williams is a man in way over his head. He's the prime suspect in a triple homicide, a notorious drug dealer wants to chop him up into little pieces and he stumbles upon an elaborate blackmail scheme of some high-ranking city officials. It all starts when the woman he once loved comes back into his life and asks him to find her runaway daughter. But what starts as an innocent search for a missing young girl, on the mean and unforgiving streets of Brooklyn, quickly escalates into a life or death struggle for him to prove his innocence. The Face of innocence is a tale of greed, blackmail, forbidden lust and murder.

Steven Cross is a native New Yorker residing in Brooklyn. He attended New York City College of Technology, majoring in telecommunications technology and creative writing. The Face of Innocence is his first novel.
