About the Author

Wayne Mazzoni is a current NCAA Division I coach, and a former college athlete. He is a published author, national lecturer and counselor on the subject of college athletic recruiting. Mr. Mazzoni has been a guest on nearly all U.S. sports radio stations, including WFAN Sports Radio 660 in New York. He has appeared on Fox, ABC, News 12, Fan TV, and other television programs. He has led seminars at hundreds of high schools across the country and at state athletic director conventions in New York and New Jersey.ayne began his college coaching career in 1992, and quickly learned that the recruiting process is not much easier for college coaches. Each college has only a few coaches recruiting, trying to cover athletes from all over the country. In an effort to help make the process easier for both athletes and coaches, he wrote The Athletic Recruiting and Scholarship Guide (now in its third edition and still the only book of its kind written by a college coach). The book has been featured in US News and World Report, News 12, ABC News, Fox Good Day New York, Amazon.com, Westwood One Radio, WFAN Sports Radio, and at retailers across the nation.
