About the Author
Robert was born in 1922, grew up in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. He left there in 1941 to sail The Great Lakes as a Merchant Marine until 1946. He worked at a valve factory in Marine City, Michigan and breweries in Detroit, Michigan until 1985. He retired and now resides in Shelby Township, Michigan. Robert has three children and four step children and is happily married to his wife, Rose. He still dabbles in poetry and writing short stories.
