The controversial hippie evangelist Lonnie Frisbee tells his own story twenty years after his death. In this first volume of a three part series that Lonnie audio and video taped prior to his untimely death in 1993, he "sets the story straight" about his life. He takes us through his involvement in the much publicized Jesus People Movement speaking from his personal perspective. Lonnie Frisbee is considered by thousands to be the major catalyst to a modern day revival which was birthed in the Haight Ashbury district of San Francisco in 1967, hit the beaches of Southern California, and swept across the nation and the world. Two huge church movements were subsequently birthed with Lonnie blazing the trail. Thousands of young converts were delivered from a lifestyle of drugs, sex, and rock-n-roll, to a born from above experience with Jesus Christ. The Jesus Revolution of the late sixties and early seventies overshadowed the Great Awakening as the greatest ingathering of souls in American history. Lonnie predicted that just like with Samson in the Bible, God is going to use his death – to reach people for God – than in his entire ministry on earth. That is a huge prediction for all of us to watch.
